Here is the link to reports on Foremark.

Foremark Fishing Reports 2009

I would think that the fishing would be quite good now, as this is generally a good tiem of year if the weather is cool, but I would phone the lodge and you will get a completely honest opinion and it will be your decision whether to go or not. They will tell you exactly what is going off and won't exaggerate any catches to lead you there under false pretences.

Default Foremark

Foremark does not currently have a website, it belonged to the previous operator. Ask Ifor at thorntonfishery@btconnect.com who is now in charge or Richard Pearson, the man on site on 01283 703 202. fyi:-

Foremark Reservoir weekly fishing report week ending 19/07/09

Following a difficult three & a half weeks fishing at Foremark due to the heat wave it good to report that the fishing has picked up dramatically since Thursday with Sunday producing a daily rod average of 6.4 for the rods who fished, a huge improvement on the start of the week when anglers struggled.

The water temperature has been around the 16 degree mark for a number of days coupled with a good wind helping to turn the water over & the conditions have suddenly come right for the trout. Early on in the week Richard Pearson head bailiff went out with a fish finder & reported a good number of trout lying at 65ft however over the weekend those fish have moved back into the upper layers of the water with anglers reporting a good number of trout moving. I spooned a fish caught there on Friday & it was full of daphnia, that fish had certainly been feeding well.

The boils have produced the majority of the fish taken with Scott Wilson catching 12 on a coral lure & a daddy on Friday returning on Sunday to catch a further 15 trout on a daddy, Mr Henderson caught 12 on Sunday while Alan Topping fished an afternoon session catching 10

With the cooler conditions we will be putting a further stocking of trout into the reservoir.

Foremark Reservoir will be represented on the ASGFM stand at the game fair held at Belvoir Castle on 24th -26th July, pop onto the ASGFM stand & say hello (stand located next to the Salmon & Trout Association.
