Surely this is not completely true!!
I agree you need to buy the correct length, weight, flex etc for the type of fishing you do. But if when you cast with said rod it feels completely wrong in your hands, you don't think well it's the right rod for the conditions so I'll buy it anyway

wouldn't you try and find a rod that suits both the type of fishing your going to be doing and also feels good to cast
