Woundered that myself of late!
Currently throwing hunks of lead in the Sea with all manor of sea food cocktails bound to the hook!
Its has a bit less finess than fly fishing but a change is as good as a rest
Also took the fly rod on a few venues nr home to the disbelief of the course fishing lads. You could see it in their faces, then they say it theres no trout in here m8 as another roach comes to the fly. 
nice to be out.....doing something a little different at the moment a different challenge reading the moods of the tide and sea
