Default So what is the best item of tackle you have bought recently?

For me its a pack of Veniards Cock Pheasant knotted feather fibres, ready to tie into daddy long legs and hoppers.

Oh the frustration of trying to put two knots into a pheasant tail fibre - gone forever.

And Daddy time coming up shortly too.

For me it has to be my lamson Radius, such a nice reel that balances with my loomis rod perfectly

A new pair of tying scissors from Phil at FlyTying Boutique. Absolutely brilliant, they have such fine points they cut really closely to the shank/body and that makes for far less bulk when I'm tying in hair wings.

Loop AEG 5# and Danielsson Dry fly reel. What a difference from my old greys grxi 7# rod and reel combo.
