Default Looking for new Fishery/Beat

Hi all, im looking for a new fishery to try out, i live in northwood middlesex and have tried out a few fairly local fisheries, Halliford Mere, Syon Park and Blenheim Palace. i used to be a member at Croxley Hall fishery before it became private and think i may have been spoilt there, anyone thats fished there will know what i mean!
Im basically trying to find my new croxley, i willing to travel, but not much further than an hour or so drive, anyone got any advice? or do i need to travel further afield

Rib valley, just north of Hertford. Water too warm at moment I believe.
Manor farm, up the A1 near Biggleswade, but again may have a water temperature issue at the moment.
Grafham, bit further up A1, but from you more than 1 hour i reckon.
There are a couple of syndicate type waters on the Panshanger estate in between Welwyn Garden city and Hertford. Info for one is in the environment agency booklet on fisheries, but have no idea how to access the other.
Hope this helps.
Regards.

Go up the M40 to Oxford and you can try Farmoor 1 and 2. Good reservoir fishing. An hour from Northwood on a good day ?

I would recommend Farmoor 1. Not as picturesque as Croxley but the fish will fight a lot harder and are a lot bigger

Rib is OK in the winter, as is Manor Farm. Chigboro is probably the closest thing to Croxley but a long drive from you.

I've not fished the two lakes that are in Welwyn, although I live within a couple of miles, but they have a good reputation and I think you can get river fishing included with one of them.
