Default I was going to fish Farmoor today

For the last 8 hrs or so, but the on off heavy downpours and gale force winds is telling me to stay put. Now the sun has come out. I cant make my mind up.

I'm halfway between you and Farmoor and its blowin' a hoolie here.

Have a look at link below for Farmoor weather info. Gusts up to 25mph, I would sit back and watch the cricket and golf.

Thanks for the update Spacemonkey, the trees are almost lying flat here so I took your advice.

I went to Bewl and got absolutely dumped on with rain. So windy there were white caps! Got skunked :-(

You might have missed a trick by not fishing Farmoor 2. I had a good session from the bank on Saturday. I fished in the south west corner right in front of the farm - got 1 on a green diawl bach fished off a floating line, then 5 on the "small booby and hares ear nymph" method Bob P has described here before. Fished a fast glass 7 weight line and gave the flies a good long sink (80 seconds), then figure of 8-ed back. When spooned, all had been feeding on hoglice, with some buzzer as well. Best 2 fish each weighed 2-10.
