Default Caravan Sites with River Brown Trout fishing

I was thinking that this may be a good source of info for holidaying fishermen.

I will start it off with

Can anyone suggest a good caravan site with good river trout / grayling fishing in Scotland either belonging to the site or local?

Fab camping/caravan site right on the River Braan (£20 a week to fish) in Dunkeld, check out the link http://www.visitdunkeld.com/perthshire-caravan-park.htm

Caravan site in Alford Aberdeenshire on the banks of a council beat of the upper Don. Lovely water but not fished it seriously myself.
Alford is not a bad little place either with lots of nice places close by e.g. Breamar, Banchory etc

Hi

Try Aberfeldy, river Tay just over the fence.

Ideal for Browns or Salmon.

Fished just after the start of the Bronie season, £5.oo per day on the Aberfeldy Town beat. Caught 3 brownies.

Permits from Newsagents in Abefeldy

Also good for a day on the Tummel, tickets in Pitlochry, or pick up fishing brochure at Tourist Info for more details

Sandy
