Default new to forum just saying Hi

Hi all just thought i would say Hi to you all.

im new to fly fishing and started early last year and have been learning as i go, I have a good friend who has helped me (chlr9) along the way and i find it a great sport. used to be a carp specimen hunter (boo I hear some say) and enjoyed stalking for them, and i suppose fly fishing is the same kinda principle in stalking your fish but with a fly. and i think the best thing is its not only trout you can flyfish for which is why i find this type of sport so much fun.
hope to get some good info from this site........

Mike

Hi bert no not yet but out with the boy tomorrow up at sailsbury fishing a couple of lakes getting him into it and heard theres plenty of carp up there, so may just take me fly rod and give it a go. who knows eh, but may have to check with the owner if its ok first.

would imagine carp on a fly is awesome as they do fight for every pound, you,ve got me thinking now......
