Default What size fly for loch fishing ?

I,m trying to find out what size of wet fly is most popular/best size to use in loch fishing in calmish rippled water,a good wave and white horse waves.

10-12 seem the most popular.

I mainly use 10,s to 14. Bigger the wave the bigger the fly.

Hi', Scoob. Chuileog summed it up for lake fishing in our area. Standard fly for Ullswater, size 12, but down to 14 or up to a 10 or an 8 depending on size of natural flies and size of the wave. TC
