Default Killyleagh Fly Fair

We left Cairnryan, Scotland at midnight on the ferry to Larne.
The weather was typical for the time of year

We got to Northern Ireland in the dark and the sun rose as we arrived at Killyleagh castle where we stayed in the battlement turrets at the front where the pics were taken from. This was a stunning place totally mad and 900 years old. .

We were there in aid of the Dibney River Conservation Trust, tying flies, bringing folks in to donate and see the many famous tyers. I was in the Dufferin Coaching Inn beside the Dufferin Arms

An amazing band played for us on Friday night.

Much feasting was done and the show was excellent. 650 good and generous folks turned out to see us.

Then went up home for a couple of days.
The wee burn was really weeded up. I rebuilt this when it was dredged in the 60's,

Would have been choked in another month so a bit of tidying ensued

Went fishing, guided by some family. They were testing reversed parachute emergers, of course.
