Yes you can buy a tapered leader and then add a dropper quite easily. Just take a piece of tippet (relative to the thickness of the leader where you add it. For a 5x come back 30" from the tip and water knot on another piece of 5x for the dropper.
Now, if you want to make the turnover really good, I would stick to a Frog Hair leader for any mine size less than a 5wt. For a 5wt or greater look at the Rio range.
What you will find over time is that you will chew up leaders and it will become easier (and cheaper) to build your own which out perform any bought one.
