stevie couple of good posts on this forum under competition fly fishing / club competitions / leven yesterday, regarding leven.
if i was you i would change boat to evening and fish buzzer sedge patterns on floating line.
if you cannot change from day be prepared to fish di7 lines with silver/ black lures on point stripped back as fast as poss!
regards

hi stevie welcome to the forum
hope your day on leven next week goes well.tactic wise i would set my boat up for adrift over the north or south deeps and start with a wetcell2 for the first couple of hours then di7,then wet2 again about 4'oclock.wet flies(kates, bibios, fierybrown) in 12s 14s, snatchers(sparse)12s 14s and sparklers, mini lures.count down then pull fast then hang,if no response then count down longer pull faster, faster, faster still then hang, hang, hang.it's not pretty but it works for me,keep an eye open for swifts and gulls working the water and move boat over to that area.dont be afraid to try the buzzers if the wind softens and sky is overcast.also if you come through a shoal of wee fish dont move off as good fish hang around in amongst them often as not, another ploy that leven fish have is rising in front of boat within casting distance then not reappearring until a rods length behind youtight lines

kangoos reply is great advice, the only thing i would add is if youre on the evening session fish a yellow owl muddler on bob with a sparsely tied muddled snatcher and normal snatcher on the rest of the cast,in the past seven days they have favoured black snatcher patterns, and dont come off early stay on till 11pm.
