Default plea for help

a none fishing topic but a call for help any of you older gents with kids got any advice on making it through the weeks of school holidays without suicide or hitting the as 1 week in and I`m close to both

i have no kids(to selfish and love my sage rods to much). so how about adoption. barnados!! google it.

Yup, that's what I'm doing. Taking my eldest (6) camping for a couple of days to a lake in the Gwydyr Forrest in August. He's got his new rod I got him for his birthday (bait rod though, only 6).

Mine are 2 weeks, 22 and 27 - and none of them seem that keen on fishing. My eldest daughter (the 27 year old) is getting married in Tuscany mid August but with little fella in tow I doubt there'll be the opportunity to sample the local trout fishing.

Anyway, and to answer the original question - as a teacher, we have them the rest of the year ................ suck it up, build a bridge and get over it!
