Default What type of line?

I have been given two new Airflo Ridge lines.

One is marked WF6F which I assume is a weight forward 6 weight floater.

The other is marked WF8F/I which I understand is a weight forward 8 weight floater/intermediate.
Can someone please explain this second line?
Does it float?
Does it sink?
How do I use it?

The lines are both marked polyfuse xt and are 100% PVC free.
That's all I can add.

then i think this may be it (a saltwater line)

Airflo PolyFuse Saltwater Tactical Series WF8I Bonefish 35 -
All Airflo Polyfuse Technology lines are produced using a unique dual coating production process that actually fuses a super slick, tough outer coating to an extremly supple polymer base that unlike PVC will not crack.
An advanced in built lubrication system provides effortless casting at any distance and not only provides incredible water repuslion but repels dirt build up as well.

- Front Taper designed to turn over in the wind yet deliver presentation when calm.
- The most durable, tough and UV resistant Saltwater fly line available.
- In built slickness for ease of shooting line and covering fish.
- Low stretch for improved hook set and playing control.

an intermediate line is a very slow sinker, used for presenting nymphs etc just below the surface.

Isn't it a sink tip with an intermediate tip? Typically, sink tips with a normal sinking tip would be marked WF8F/S.

Zoomer,

Think you might be right. I've just noticed that elsewhere on the box it s described as a WF8 mini tip, so presumably this is a floating line with a slow sinking tip.
...............unless anyone else has a diferent idea???
