Default Fluorocarbon or Nylon

What do members use when Dryfly fishing on lakes or small stillwaters.

I have been using Fluoro for about 3 years but for some reason this year I keep getting tangles and losing fish and the fly when the knot fails so recently I have gone back to my old nylon (Drennen Sub Surface) and have had no problems, I still use Fluoro when Nymphing.

Maxima Ultraclear mono. 6lb>5lb>4lb tapered. I found fluoro tended to drag them down a little too quickly.

Stroft- I tried some a few years ago and- sorry- it was appallling for my sort of fishing.Tangled easily , broke if you looked at it in a funny way or it grazed a branch.Riverge Grand Max is my leader material of choice- tough reliable AND thin

I use flourocarbon (Grand Max) - my only problem is getting it to sink.
