Hi', Paul, and welcome, if I haven't already said so!
The 'Fence End' is near the bottom end of the Carlisle AA water on the right bank, not far above the Spa Well. You used to be able to get to it via Stainton village, by walking down a farm track to the water. There used to be a small hut on the bank near the bottom boundary. Cheers, TerryC
