I took delivery of my Competition Mini Lures from Ruthvenflyfisher yesterday, (see trade Classifieds). Wow. They are SO well tied. Perfect proportions and quality materials. They just scream "troot".

I'm a total convert to the Orkney style flies after I was sent some by a forum member to try on the Southern reservoirs. I used them last September and the results were spectacular. I fished them on an Intermediate and had fish rolling over the bob fly a yard from the boat. Incredible.
