Default lost drogue at frandy

was up at frandy today, fishing was good, even if it was a bit windy.managed 4 rainbows for10 pounds 4 ounces and lost a couple,so a good day as far as fishing goes.however the day was almost marred by the sight of my drogue sinking into the depths all because i had not secured it properly.i have noticed other anglers using drogues by clamping them at 2 ends to the side of the boat, is this a better method than simply tying onto the gunwale?

is this g-clamp method better during windy conditions.i.e does it slow you down better.

No mate, the drogue slows you down better as long as its attached to your boat, not at the bottom of the lake

The g-clamps simply offer a more secure attachment, as well as the flexibility to adjust the drift.

It's only a drogue mate, get over it, plenty more important things to worry about in life.
