Default So what vice do you use?

For many years I used an old Veniards vice I picked up from a second hand shop in Sheffield. Then I graduated to a Thompson A vice which was very good.

But these days I use a Griffin Odyssey Cam Vice, made in the USA. This thing is absolutely superb. It holds the hooks very well, even big ones used for salt water flies. And I can turn the fly at any angle, keeping the body of the fly level. I got the Griffin second hand from good old Steve Parton who told me in no uncertain terms that it was the only American vice worth looking at.

But what do you use?

Had a call last night to say my LAW vice is ready!
So my Dyna King will be in classifieds soon. It's been a great vice, can't fault it really but just can't wait to get me hands on the LAW!
