I speak 3 other languages in addition to English. I have absolutely no problems with German, Dutch, Belgian, Danish and Norwegian people when they speak English. But dear old Davie, I cannot understand 1/2 of what he says - seriously and I really do want to, because he is a damn good fly tyer.

I have sat and watched Davie, in person at 3 'live tying sessions' so to speak, and inwardly digested all the videos, and I can understand him nee bother man!
However, Davie does admit that he uses
one or two words on the videos that people have asked, "What does
(insert word here) mean?", But these are words that are in everyday use, ie: "take" or "place" etc etc, not words for describing materials, colours, or even techniques.
If you can speak 3 languages, and understand 90% of the populations dialect, then why are you struggling with Davies? An Idea might be to copy & paste the video your struggling to undestand, highlight the time at which the commentary is 'swahili'(sp?) to you and maybe people can judge for themselves, and help you out?
