Default Irish Meet?

Would there be enough interest if I was to hold an Irish meet on the rivers Tar, Nire & Suir all my private beats. It could be for Trout or salmon and if interested we could do an evening Bass and Pollock Fishing. How does this sound?

It sounds like I need to move to Ireland! I wish.

Hi Fishunt

I would definately be up for it. I have fished the Suir and the Tar before when we stayed at the Clonanav fishery. The Suir wasn't great (I blanked) but we had superb sport on the Tar !!

I would happily make the trip from Dublin.

I'd be up for a days fishing, never fished the Suir, love to give it a go. Where had you in mind for the sea fishing?

Hi fishhunt...

Sounds like a great idea. I'd love to take part. When were you thinking it should happen?

Cheers
JJ

I'd definitely be interested as well. I love fishing the Suir. How's it fishing at the moment for trout?

I don't have salt water gear for the bass and pollack however so trout fishing I'd be more interested in. Keep us posted re dates etc.

I'd be up for that, just back from a days fishing the Suir now.

Sounds interesting. I've never fished the Suir so that would be a good way to start...
I'd be on for a bit of bass on the fly too

Default Still Happening?

Just saw this thread, is there anything happening with the meet? I am not a salmon angler, just fish a few of the stocked lakes. Would love to try the river Suir though, have passed it loads of times.
