Default sweethope charity day out.

Not to steel anyones thunder and let them fill out a report on today ,but purley a big thankyou to Rob at the fishery and Ian (grommit) for a superb day out.Evryone along with many forum members had an excellent day and the craic was brilliant,I cant speak any more highly but to say that is an example of what fishing is all about and I b..loddy enjoyed myself as did my son and look forward to next year.despite the weather not one person moaned or groaned about the fishing or anything it was true fishing and banter.brill
well done to all who went and and for a good cause.

Very quick post for me at the moment as are moving offices today!

Brilliant day out with some fantastic company and good craic. The day surpassed all our expectations and I will announce a final figure as soon as we have everything counted up

A HUGE thank you to everyone who took part and made it one of the most memorable days I have ever had

Will post a full report over the weekend but in the meantime here is a link to a report done by The Journal reporter, George McIntyre

Gary it was a pleasure fishing with you and even better seeing your skill and acheiving second place would have been closer if you had landed everything you hooked. To see you using traditionals aswell was good to see them working, apart from the dud you gave me ,couldnt have been the same lol.
We have to say all the winners were from Scotland aswell lol.
Well done to Willy deserved after all that rowing in that gale and well fished to get what he did.Apart from that springy fly box full of spongey thingys if you know what I mean(he didnt use them though)well done m8

it was a great day out with genuine anglers and good craic and alot of fun.Glad my son kept his end up.

I hope to have many more fishing days with all of you it was a pleasure to fish with evreyone of you..

ps I hope someone else has got rid of his cheap gut aswell we know who we mean FREE WILLY comes to mind ALEC the tears have dried from my eyes after that and it couldnt have happened any other way even if it was planned.
