I am having trouble locating a copy of this book that is not ridiculously priced.
Amazon have them starting from £95.00 haha

Is it true that this book is going to be re-published?
If so does anyone know when it may be available or have any tips as to where i can find the old one?

Hi' Paul. You should be able to get hold of an old edition of 'Lochs of Scotland', as I have had the first series ( 600 lochs described ) and the second, which covered 1,000 lochs, for a lot less than £90. TC

Bruce is reportedly compiling the next edition this year. Which may go some way to lowering those joke prices you mention.

(trying to suppress the wish I'd stocked up on it when it wasn't a rarity - and failing)

are you joking??£95 the originals a great refference book, ive used mine alot,although id still buy the new one as id imagin lots of the contact details have changed since the last edition.

Fly Clips & Stands

A couple of weeks back I picked up a copy of Bruce's 'Trout Lochs of Scotland' (second edition) for £4.

Would very much like to get a copy of the Rivers and Lochs book.

Just keep looking on ebay or amazon , i picked one up this week from amazon for £25 its £10 over rrp , but its a terrific book . Cant complain sold my last one for £70 on ebay ...happy days..

P.S ive heard the new book might not be coming out , but hope the info i got was wrong...

Took me 6mths to find a copy at a reasonable price (£30) it's basically a bible for travelling and I've corrected changes to the owners of fishing rights as I've found them.

You'll need to stick to the Fish Scotland helpline who use the book as a reference anyway, while you wait to find a copy. Good luck.

(And no mine's not for sale!)
