Default Fish Farming

For the early risers out there farming today are discussing fish farming all this week at c. 5.45am.

This morning had some interesting figures on production suggesting the ratios of weight of food in to produce a kilo of farmed fish had come down significantly. It was a professor of aquaculture.

Anybody interested I think you can get it on listen again on the internet.

Hi Derwent Fly

Thank you!

It is available as a 'podcast'......and I did just that

This subject has cropped up in the 'National Stocking Policy' thread in the rivers section if you would like a little more insight.....Including a few figures and ethical questions.
