Default wire to mono

hi any ideas on the best way or knot to connect wire tippet to a mono leader ? cheers { flexible knotable wire )

I take it its for pike if so how about a swivel

i personally would incorporate a swivel between the two, if you dont want to do that then the albright knot would do the trick its a knot for differing thicknesses of lines !!!

thanks guys ,its for barracuda bite tippets, i had made some using the albright knot ,i didnt know if there was something better,thanks for the info ,cheers

I use a shock leader knot and it has never let me down.

It makes a nice small knot that is very strong.

I can recommend 'toothy critters' leaders for cudas - more expensive than making your own up though.
