hi has anybody on the forum had problems with flybuyer.com ? i paid for flies almost 2 wks ago ,yet there is no sign of them & my emails are not replied to. has the firm closed down or ?are they slow at delivering ?or dont they know how to reply to emails ?

Check ou the couple threads in tackle talk. There's a long delay since they are shutting down operations. Don't worry you'll get what's left in stock of your order, it might just take longer than usual. I'm at 3.5weeks..... bear with it!

im off to cuba next week as i have stated in my emails ,if they cant deliver they shoudnt advertise , im up s..t creek without a paddle now !!!! they can 4get it if they aint commin !

they will come but have had hundreds maybe thousands of orders in only a few days so just be pacient and it and it will come hopefully

Not much use if he's in Cuba... tanjipete hopefully you'll be lucky and get them before you leave.

As has been explained in (other) threads the company who were closing down that side of their business decided to offer the remaining stock to anglers rather than sell it to another company .They were surprised by the uptake and are doing their best to deal with the orders in turn .I'd imagine that they have very few staff dealing with the orders .
If it is something you must take with you then I'd suggest buying elsewhere just in case . You will get what you ordered subject to availability .

THA CAN TELL A YORKSHIREMAN ,BUT THA CAN'T TELL HIM MUCH !!

I contacted them a couple of weeks ago and they said that they had something like 400 orders till they get to mines. I then asked for an update 3 weeks later and they had only got through 70 orders since i last enquired. So I wouldnt expect anything soon. I am not sure if they will have anything left by the time they come to my order!!

If you cant wait, then they are more than willing to cancel your order.

Look at the guys situation, he is going to Cuba, now we don't know if that's a holiday, fishing trip, moving permanently or whatever. But for whatever reason he needs his items before then so what does patience have to do with anything?

I'm happy to wait on my flies coming but if i'd needed them two weeks after ordering then i'd be stuffed and would naturally be pretty angry.... patience would have nothing to do with it, just like this situation.
