Default What Polaroids?

Probably a daft question, but which coloured lens do you think are best.
Went to order a pair last night and was surprised at the range.
Cheers,
Phil.

Hi Phil,

If you are going to buy one pair, get brown lenses. But if you can stretch to 2 I would buy yellow (amber) lenses for low light conditions and grey for sunny conditions.

For what it's worth, I've fished with 2 pro guides who both used brown whatever the conditions

Hope that helps

Cheers, John

My misses has got a pair of Bolles with rose tint lenses and these beat any other pair iv owned by a long way. would get a pair myself but think £100 quid is a bit steep. Rumour has it that Maui Jim glasses with rose tint are the D B,s
Think you will get a lot of different answers.

I have a pair of the Maui Jims and yes they are outstanding. Not cheap at £99, but you get what you pay for...... however, I bought a pair of the Snowbee Prestige Gamefisher and to be truthful with you, they're 95% of the Maui's, yet cost £45.

I've done side by side tests on the river, looking at fish and the Maui's are just a smidge sharper. If I hadn't bought the Maui's first, I'd say that the Snowbee are the dogs'. There are an excellent buy, and I believe, won the best in test that TF magazine ran.

I have some Orvis Tri-Spectrum HVO Glasses with rose lenses and they are excellent in all light levels so far, thoroughly recommended.

I've got Serengeti and Bolle both with sandstone lenses and this is the best all round lens colour I've used. The Habervision Amalfi have had very good reviews in other threads at US$87.50 or thereabouts.

Fishing with Sid yesterday, and I tried his Bolle's on, they had a blue tint.
I must say I was impressed with them, really let you see deep.
