Good day with pupils and spey board.

29 pupils along with members of the river Spey Board spent a day with us today which was not only beneficial for us but the pupils enjoyed it very much.They took away with them alot ,Covering entomolgy having a fish and competitions along with feeding the fish it was a really good day out.The enthusiasim which the kids had rubbed off on everyone and some of them for their age were casting a fly rod really well.The good bits were that they were shown what angling has to offer at the right age before the other anti this and that can show them other things and at least now they would be able to see both sides and make informed choices and Know that anglers are Not Bad.
It was amazing to see the insect life in the feeder burn of stonefly,caddis,and mayfly which shows the water quality is first class it was good for adults aswell as the children.

It is a good idea and well done to the Spey board and we were glad to take part and help out and enjoy a good and informative day,which we hope will carry on.
