Default Fishing in Spain - the Rio Frio

Did anyone ever manage to get some fly fishing in southern spain? I've read through some of the posts from the past but there seems to have been no follow-up.

I'm heading over there next week and was thinking of taking a rod..

Hi Marmalade, forget the Rio Frio, I have been a few times when over there and it's a nasty dirty bit of water that the Spanish flock to at weekends.
Surrounded by a few decent restaurants.
I go over there about 7 times a year, and the rivers are always bone dry, and if there is any water, you wouldn't find a fish in it.
Northern Spain is a different story, but Andalucia.
