The glycerine is just to keep it soft and wet. Put in a little, and make a paste up with the washing up liqiud. If it gets a little dry, once you start using it, just add a few drops of glycerine later.

Hi,

I posed the same question a while back, basically fill a small tupperware box with some fullers earth, maybe half a teacup, add washing up liquid in very gradually, mix until you have the right consistency (same as your current sinkant). A couple of drops of glycerine will stop it from drying out but you can get away with not using any really. Try get hold of some old film canisters, most photo shops will give them away.

Oddly enough I was making some up earlier .I just put some FE in a small container ,added some w/up liquid to make a smooth paste ...adjusting the consistency by adding some more FE if needed .When I got it to the consistency I wanted I put in a drop of glycerine .Job done .

Try a local Chemist. I would start with an independent shop because they are most likely to have some. You may get lucky and find a Boots that stocks it.
