Question Newmills trout fishery lanark

hi everyone,
looking for some advice, going to fish at Newmills trout fishery in lanark tomorrow, outing with my work..!
most of the guys will be confined to a pond we have sole access to as they are going to be bait fishing...!
where as myself and some of the guys will be going from pond to pond with the fly rods,
any suggestions on flies to use...?
never been before but i think its mostly stockies...!
cheers
Tommy

Newmills is the home of the yellow dancer, perhaps you should give that a go!

clueless turtle and myself were there at the start of march, we were both having takes on the cats whisker but didnt land any, i saw one crusing the margin for 10 minutes, but it wasnt interested. the day we were there only 3 fish were caught on the fly only loch which is directly opposite the club loch where your collegues will be fishing.

The Dancer range of rainbow lures was first designed and named here at Newmill and they are now a firm favourite all over the world. Dancers purchased through Newmill are still tied by the original designer.
