Default loch-style fishing books?

What books would you suggest on how to fish loch style and why? I am hoping for a book if there is one that goes from the basics to the high level techniques used in competitions.

You'll find everything you need in Stan Headleys Loch Fishers Bible, from early to late season, floating to hi-d, lures to dries, it covers all aspects of loch style fishing.

I will second that ,it even features a tiny bit about me ,
seriously though a fine book ,lots of well thought out methods that work ,another modern book that ticks my boxes is the Dennis Moss book !
Both together a superb !

Dennis Moss book is 'Trout from a boat' and is excellent.

Also great reads (albeit from an older age) featuring lough/loch fishing are

Kingsmill Moore's 'A Man May Fish'

Sidney Spencer's 'Salmon and Sea Trout from Wild Places'

David Street's 'Fishing in Wild Places'

Do not think one is ready for some of the books mentioned. Suppose Headleys
book fits the bill but not for this man.

The only thing with the Loch Fishers Bible is that it sems to be unretrevable when lent/loaned to mates and the chances of you seeing it again are slim.

I was given a copy a couple of years ago for Christmas and lent it out about six months after reading it and i havn't seen it since.
