Could someone let me know how Fitted fighting butts are attached to rods are they glued or is there some other way they are attached.

rods come with the fighting but. can you buy a separate one to add ?

Some have special seats which can take a removeable fighting butt, or just a cap if you prefer. It's normally held in by rubber O ring aound a metal stalk which fits into a hole in the seat. In general they're fixed though.

Hi', HE. Some butt caps ( fighting butt caps ) are screw-ins, some are push-fits as described, or similar. The fighting butt cap on one of my Daiwas fell out, unknown to me, and I replaced it with a decorative one made from Brazilian Purple Heart wood, plus half-round rubber button. It's permanently cemented in now!! TC

Its a daiwa wilderness and im wondering is it glued on.
