Default River Allan tomorrow

hi folks ,

fishing the river allan tomorrow probably dunblane area or kinbuck etc

has anyone got any experience on the allan and could give me some local knowledge ? It will be a day trip so no dusk fishing , but i think iv missed a run of sea trout now anyway as they dont tend to hang about .

what can i target ? brownies ? salmon ?

I'm fishing here because i dont want to keep fishing the same river as all rivers are different and hopefully educate me on different techniques and aspects of the old flee chucking

any advice or info would be great ,

many thanks

marky

Default allan

Had a season ticket on the allan the last four years gave it up this year, fishing for salmon over the last four years has been terrible they just didnt turn up in any numbers ,even quite a few of the local fishermen who know it very well were talking of giving it up and going elsewhere, seatrout ? i seen one caught in four years and that was caught on a black flying c ,they arent there anymore, the browns that do get caught are mostly at the start of the season when they stock it ,then they reckon they get washed out with the big waters, sorry to be a giver of bad news give me a pm if you want to know anymore about the water
