They're not bad rods for the money, maybe a little too soft for casting the likes of Di3 or Di7 lines and I wish the handles were just a bit thinner.

Not unless you fancy having a load of filler falling out...

Here we go, the rod know-it-all's are giving their opinions on something they don't like!

The Greys G Series, is a fantastic piece of kit; at an affordable price!

I've used one on the rivers in south Wales, they have a nice action when presenting a fly, and have been rated with a choice of two line sizes, 4/5 -6/7 -7/8 etc, the finish on the rod is (IMHO) excellent; and certainly as good as some more expensively priced rods; they cast a line and catch fish like any other rod! - You pay your money and make your choice!

I like-em!

I have the 5/6 weight and have used it for the past two years on and off.

It not a bad rod but it's not my rod of choice as I prefer my Bloke.

The action is, as has been said previously, extremely soft so depending on your casting style, ability and requirements depends on if it is the right rod for you.

Try before you buy if you can. It's always the best policy with these things.

G for Great!

Totally agree Mostyn. For the price it's very good.
