Sounds like much of British Columbia is going to be stuffed too then. On my recent trip I spent 4 days in a wilderness resort on the west coast of Vancouver Island in the Pacific Rim Canadian National Park Reserve where the resort proprietor had won an award for his salmon conservation efforts in the river. I had to tell him he was wasting his time as there were no less than 27 Atlantic salmon farms in the fjord/sound. He said there was no way the government would shift any of them as the same argument was deployed as in Scotland - 'valuable jobs in remote areas', in this case for 'Native Americans' aka 'First Peoples'.
