Default Worst possible result !!

My wife has been nagging me for around 2 years that she wanted to give fly fishing a go. Got up this morning, looked out the window & thought perfect, wind around 30mph & rain falling horizontally. This is the perfect time to put her off for good. So at lunchtime i told her to get her waterproofs on we were off fishing. Long & short, after an hour of some of the worst conditions i have ever fished in i had to drag her off the water kicking & screaming. She was loving it. Will need better tactics next time......

I met a girl on an Oz FF Forum who was looking for some unwanted wading boots. As it happens I had a pair of Danners (no longer made, but used to be the Rolls Royce of boots) which I bought too small, and sent them over to her, she was "stoked". She was a dead keen fisher who was introduced to it by the boyfriend, and it turns out she was better at it than him!
I think this is the secret fear of most who introduce it to their other 'arf!

I remember I took the wife up one evening and it was a perfect evening - overcast, light winds and warm. The trout were rising every where and I could not do a thing wrong and lost count of the fish I put back.

Any how after watching me playing my ump teenth fish she said, thats looks easy, I think I could take up this fishing lark and come with you

I did of course explain that it was red letter evening and its never like like all the time!! She got the hint.
