Default Barhead dams

Hi There,

Just wondering if anyone has had much joy fishing the dams this spring.

Cheers.

i was shown a pic today of a very unusual fish caught 2 weeks ago, also a 34Ib pike and roach to 2plus. superb waters just needing better management. The browns are growing huge on the perch and roach.

Alex

Let me know how you get on - am itching to get into the Pike on the fly - have only used me new pike fly rod once but still haven't connected with anything yet.

Cheers

Peter

no pike but did get hammered by a brownie about 3Ibs right at the burn mouth, it hit fly twice but was missing wildly always a hot spot for them, too much fresh water running in for pike they switch off when its like this, nice walk though and loads of fly life. so much potential.

rod tube is in lodge derek.
