Hi Skywalker and welcome to the forum.

Forums like this are a great source for beginners and experienced alike. If you look back through previous threads you will find lots of information given to many beginners. It would help if you were more specific as in what waters you would like to fish e.g. rivers/lakes and what type of fish you intend to target trout wild/stocked or salmon to name only 2. So have a look back through the forum and post again and ask away
