I thought you said you had a shed load of fish off the six mile in December?

Default Good laugh here .. I thought our 'fishing regs' were all over the map.

Rogue river is open year round for fishing ... but you'd better be a 'rocket si' if you're going fishing. Certain areas could actually be closed to fishing from Point A to Point B, closed to a given fish while you can legally fish for same elsewhere in the immediate (25'ish mile stretch) area, fly fishing only til, then from here to there during that time frame 'any gear' is allowed ...

I think you get the point.

Oh I forgot. The printed regulations can be modified at will ... best have internet access.

No it doesn't. According to the EA byelaws for Wales, apart from 9 named stillwaters, the end of the season for stillwaters in which it is 17th October, on those 9 and the rivers, the brown trout season in Wales ends on 30th September and re-starts on a variety of dates from 3rd March to 31st May depending on the catchment.

'USUALLY' (unless there's a local varience), 30th September.

Simple answer, check with where you intend(ed) to fish!

Whoops! Sorry, I missed the fact that you had given virtually the same answer earlier, still no harm in reinforcing the point given the widespread uncertainty revealed in the other posts.
