Not too sure of any clubs in Bishopton itself but Paisley Abercorn AC and Gryffe AC are only a short drive from Bishopton.

Inchinnan Angling Club have the Whitemoss dam outside Bishopton which is very good. Not expensive to join, a good Trout water. I was a member for many years but left when the decision was made to stock with Rainbows. It has some very large Brownies up to double figures probably because it has a large head of Crayfish but they do not get caught very often. You might want to take a run up one evening & ask someone about joining. They were looking for members this year but you may now be too late. To get to it drive by the Bishopton Hotel westbound & take the immediate fork to the left( Old Greenock Road) Up road for 1/2 mile & take the sharp left at big gates. Go pass the cemetery & go downhill look for farm entrance on right (Whitemoss) Drive up past farm house bear left though between two barns & you will come to car park. There is a good path right round water to the right up to club hut (container) Speak to anglers & they will help you. If you do join I will give you some pointers on were to fish it. A nice water & one I miss fishing. Good wading in places & they have 4 boats for free use to club members.

Tinker - we are having a day out next month at Harelaw if you fancy meeting a few of the lads from here for a cast.
