I have got my mate to go fishing next Friday night with me, nothing unusual there, except he is getting married on the Saturday... im also living with the maid of honour... they don't know a thing So this could be our last trip this month and a while. Since I rely on him for transport want to make the most of it.

But the persuation is... he is new to fishing and likes the wee waters where his confidence is high on catching something where as I grew up fishing Linlithgow but now based in Glasgow am trying to get him to go to Harelaw as I want him to fish something that wasnt created by a JCB in one scoop!! Any ideas cause he doesn't seem to be budging?

No worries there then - Harelaw is easy to get to by public transport - I have done it a few times - just get the train to Neilston and then walk up the hill.
