Default Fishing or Football....Help?

It’s a dilemma
I’m mad keen on my trout fishing, usually fish Gailey Trout fishery about 3 times a week, I’m also mad keen on my football team Birmingham City, they play Reading on Sunday....either team could reach the premiership, and I’ve got the chance of 2 tickets ......What do I do? Fishing or Footy?
Gailey’s been fishing it’s whatsits off ....Blues have been playing cr*p.
Best / Funniest responses please

You have inadvertently answered a question Castaline and I had. We fished Seighford today, and passed Gailey, and wondered whether it was fihsable or just a boating type water. Now we know.

Burnhan.... So Bluebirds in the play off final, what do you recon. I must admit, fishing a drifting boat, 2 Shipmans buzzers, catch a few fish, NO radio or phone then get the football results after.
codenamemilo ... you must try Gailey, fishing really well at the moment.

Watching your team gain promotion may be an experience of a lifetime, you shouldn't miss it. If it were my team, and they are in the Div. One play-offs, I wouldn't want to miss it for the world.

You go fishing three times a week - take a day off!

Put in perspective - you're only catching a few bloody fish

Record the football match and watch it that evening as you nurse your aching arm after catching fat rainbows all day.........

where's the problem???

Personally cant stand football so 'twas an easy one for me

How often do you think a chance like this comes along for Birmingham City?

Not for nothing did the joke go round Brum following Nelson Mandela's release about his first words as a free man - "Have Blues won anything yet?"

You just never know when your team will next be within touching distance of glory.

Martin O'Neil has already made this mistake on the other side of town with his ludicrous UEFA Cup selection policy: don't compound it. Gailey will still be there next week: there are no such guarantees with Birmingham City and the Big Occasion. Get thee to the game.

Is Mr Prest truly advising someone to watch football instead of going fishing?

That is akin to Mr Dyson advising someone to use a mop....
