That's roughly the going rate.Remember that once it's opened you need to store it in the freezer,.

And as Fred said squeeze any air out of the nozzle, before replacing the top.
Stops it going solid in the neck.

Bruce, thats a good price. Some outlets are charging up to £6.99 for aquasure. Others who stock Stormsure are charging up to £5.99 for a tube half the size (15g) which is the same gear.
I buy my Aquasure from a diving shop and pay £5.50 for the 28g tube, They also stock a larger sized tube but its way too much for the anglers needs.

Yes the freezer trick certainly works....otherwise you end up paying six quid for one patch on yer waders!

Oops!... nips over to check tube of Stormsure, (which has been open for quite a while), find it's still flowing but pop it in freezer anyway.
Thanks Jim!

I found a place online that sold bulk tubes (I think the one I bought was either 200 or 300 g). I paid about 15 to 20 quid for it a few years ago, but it is a lifetime supply and over 10 times cheaper per unit mass than the smaller tubes.

The shop is amusingly titled "Beaver Sports". It's a diving shop but I'm not sure if it still sells the stuff.
