Default EA Where To Fish Guide 2009

Sorry if this has been asked before (I thought I'd seen a thread on it) but have many of you received the 'Where To Fish Guide' that the EA are supposed to be sending out to all rod licence holders?
Obviously, you lads and lasses north of the wall need not reply. You don't need a licence but that also means you don't get the guide!

I got one yesterday and put it straight in the bin, there were no still-water fly-fisheries listed although it had an index for them.

I suppose they have to justify their extortionate licence fee somehow though, even if it was little more than worthless junk mail.

Have to agree with this. Complete waste of paper. I bet it wasn't free for the fisherys to be in it so the EA will have actually made money from it.

Angling TAX mongers strike again.

Hi' All. It's a sad fact of life that if it wasn't for the income from rod licences, the EA would be in the brown stuff, and I don't mean Worcester Sauce. I don't know what they get from the government these days, but it's nowhere enough to do what our licence dosh helps them to achieve. It's a pity other river users
didn't contribute in a similar way. We help keep the rivers clean, everybody else benefits. TC

Mine arrived yesterday. It would have been useful if it had also included club and syndicate waters, with contact details. In my guide it shows all the rivers, lakes, ressies etc, most of which have no indication as to wether you can fish there or not.
