April Vokey is one of the 'new breed' of female anglers and certainly gets my vote. Worth a look IMHO.

April Vokey really is a serious angler, to wit Flygirl's post above. Moreover, I suggest a read of her blog on the site, she talks a lot of sense and does a heck of a lot to promote fishing (there are also more photos)

The one that made me look again was the first entry in the blog for March 2009, where she talks about how she actually earns a living, thus enabling her to fish, and when she actually fits in fishing around that. Respect is due, and she puts many of us to shame I am sure!
