Red face Kicking ones self....... a little

Im still a little euphoric and shaky after catching my new personal best river brownie yesterday. A long drawn out affair of waiting , more waiting then wading out almost arm-pit deep to the far bank under some rather low branches. then the near perfect side cast that sealed the deal with an absolutely lovely if gnarly looking hooked jaw cock fish of around three and a half pound... then the realisation that my camera was unreachable in my chest pack up on top of the steep bank behind me - to far to carry a fish that has put up such a good account of itself. So back he went ( swifter than i expected actually of its own accord - ol' butterfings here )

Anyway the memory of this one is going to stay with me a long time i think and was a fine end to almost two whole days of fishless fishing

mr. anonymous trout wherever you are now , thankyou!

I am here Mr K, your welcome, and the names Steven.
Well done on a fine fish, any chance of a small clue where you were, at least which river.

Ah! so thats where you got to! not so anonymous after all then!

Fish was from a trib of a north yorkshire river - my lips are sealed past this however unfortunately as i was a guest of a good freind and the place has had way more than its fair share of poaching in recent times sadly , hope you understand
