I was down at my mothers today and had a rumage in the Garage and came across a Milbro 9 1/2 ft 6-9 wt Peter Anderson reservoir fly rod . Who was Peter Anderson ? does anybody know .

He is still an 'is'. I know a very, very good spey caster who has lessons from him.

Peter Anderson holds or has held multiple Distance Casting titles.I met him a few weeks ago and he can still cast a superb line and he is a Gentleman if a little opinionated and bias towards through actioned rods.

i was talking to him 10 mins ago, while we were talking he was casually spey casting my 9' #5 trout rod 30 yards.

Peter Anderson was a world casting champion a bit before some of the lads on here were born!! TC

I saw him do a display about at least 35 years past in coleraine Northern Ireland,I was then a youth and couldnt believe how far he could cast,glad to hear he is still around.

i fished with him last year on harelaw, bloody hopeless when it comes to trout ha ha, jim you must be a big lump as peter is a fair old height himself.......
