Default recommendation please - Devon & Cornwall Fisheries

We are planning a week in Devon / Cornwall - Brixham / Plymouth / Falmouth areas in June - can anyone recommend fisheries in these areas - MUST operate C&R - we don't want to kill fish.

We have holidayed in Hampshire for the past 15 years but due to the lack of C&R fisheries, and the (generally) poor qaulity of those that still do we are having a change.

Ideally clear water and fish well to imitiative methods.

Details would be much appreciated.

Thank you

Nigel

Colliford is a perfect place by the sounds of it.

Have a look at this site.

If you're going to be near Falmouth then Stithians would offer some excellent fishing.

Stithians is great, but a large, shallow reservoir, so there's no sight fishing. Alternatively try Tree Meadow, which has a lovely lake with rainbows, blues, browns, brookies and tigers in it. a friend of mine had some lovely brookies and a brown, all returned, and it's clear water so you can see the fish!

I too would recommend Fernworthy, beautiful little browns on drys with the chance of a bigger fish. C&R no problem, fishing well at the moment

Hi Nigel
I've just come back from that exact area- and I fished a couple of the angling2000 beats. Really good fun- hard work though and I needed waders.
