Has anyone tried these for salmon?

As for their 'claim' about being effective for Steelhead ... I doubt it. I post to several major US based fishing boards and don't ever recall seeing any reference to this 'thing.'

Yes, experimented with this type of thing for salmon. Getting the lip straight and weighting correct for the required action is murder. If exact movement is not critical then they will be a realistic different option.
